Recently, I was talking with a sis of mine, a very good friend. We were discussing about all the many things women face.
It’s a lot. I was gonna try and list some, but I dare not even try. We face a lot. Each day. Some we can talk about, some we will more than likely take to the grave. Some we can recognize in others, some we feel we walk alone with.
Please, sis….don’t let these things make you hard. Let it make you stronger, wiser, more resilient. But not hard. We were meant to be soft, lady-like, gracious, gentle.
Don’t let life make you hard!
I choose gentleness…Nothing is won by force. I choose to be gentle. If I raise my voice may it only be in praise. If I clench my fist, may it be only in prayer. If I make a demand, may it be only of myself. -Max Lucado
Be soft. Do not let the world make you hard. Do not let pain make you hate. Do not let the bitterness steal your sweetness. Take pride that even though the rest of the world may disagree, you still believe it to be a beautiful place -Kurt Vonnegut, Jr
